I don't know about you, but I am ready for some warm weather, camping, BBQ's and outdoor fun. It has been far too long of a winter here in Jersey and I am ready to conquer the great out doors. It's about time we fire up the RV and hit the road!
Willy Washers' founder is an avid camper and loves to take the RV out on the road. So far we have been to some really great campgrounds/RV Resorts. Some of our favorites are the following:
Of course, my all time favorite (so far) is Fort Wilderness in Disney. There is so much to do right in the campground. The swimming pools are huge, horseback riding, nightly bonfires and marshmallow roasting with a movie, pony rides for the kids, a restaurant and bar for the adults, or even just enjoy driving your golf cart around and checking out the beautiful scenery. Not to mention you just catch a ride on the ferry or the bus to go to the park of your choice. When it's time to rest you will find the guests playing the washer game while hanging at their site. One day there will be a Fort Wilderness Willy!
Next I suggest, Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. If you like fun in the sun, then this is the place for you. Nothing like waking up in the morning and smelling the ocean air. There are even Ocean Front sites, a game room for the kids, indoor/outdoor swimming pools. Sandy's Pizza Delivery Service too. You can even take your washer toss game to the beach. Don't worry about losing the washer in the sand, if you have a Willy, you can easily find it.
Another favorite is the Lake George RV Park, New York. What a truly beautiful place. The scenery of the mountains on the lake is so very peaceful. Well, peaceful looking for that town is hopping. Boat rentals, tubing, hiking. You name it. Lake George is "The Great Outdoors!", and when you go back to your site you can relax and play washers.
There are so many places to go and see. This year we are looking forward to going to Frontier Town in Ocean City Maryland. This will be our first trip there. We are very excited. I heard that wild horses run on the beaches. Looking forward to this trip.
Of course we will be introducing Willy Washers to our fellow campers who love to play washers.
